Parcel Insurance: All shipped parcels are insured up to a maximum value of CAD $50,000 per parcel. Any transaction exceeding this amount will be divided into multiple parcels, each insured separately.
Delivery Address: The client is fully responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address provided at the time of the transaction. No liability can be assumed in the event of an error or omission in the address supplied by the client.
Carriers and Shipping: Shipments are made via FedEx or other secure carriers. Shipping fees are determined based on value, weight, and distance. A direct signature is required upon delivery. A shipping notification including tracking information is sent once the parcel has been dispatched.
PROCESS FOR A PURCHASE
Once payment is confirmed:
- The order is prepared and shipped according to the terms above.
- The client receives a tracking number.
- A signature is required upon receipt.
Delivery Attempts:
- A first delivery attempt is made.
- If the recipient is unavailable, a second attempt is made.
- If the client remains unavailable, a notice is left by the carrier.
- The client has 5 business days to retrieve the parcel.
- After this period, the parcel will be returned to Royal Mint Collection.
For any returned order:
- New shipping fees will apply.
- An administrative fee of CAD $50 will be charged prior to any reshipment.
PROCESS FOR A SALE
When the client confirms their intention to sell:
- We ship an insured, secured box to the client.
- Delivery is made with tracking and signature required.
The client must:
- Place only the agreed-upon metals in the box.
- Carefully package the items.
- Follow the provided instructions.
- Return the box via the designated carrier.
- The client is responsible for the contents until the parcel is received by Royal Mint Collection.
Loss, Theft or Damage (Purchase or Sale)
In the event of a lost, stolen, or damaged parcel:
- The client must contact us as soon as possible.
- A claim will be filed with the carrier and the insurance provider.
- Depending on the situation, financial compensation or an alternative solution will be offered in accordance with the insurance terms.
